What we do with your details
Short site, short policy. We collect almost nothing, and what we do collect is only ever used to write back to you.
If you write to us
The contact form asks for your name, your email, the dates you have in mind if you know them, and your message. It is handled by Web3Forms, which passes it to our own inbox. We use it to answer you and for nothing else — no list, no newsletter, and we do not pass it to anyone.
If you book
The booking calendar is Hospitable's, running inside a frame on our page. Your booking details and your card go to Hospitable directly and never touch this website. Their privacy policy covers that part. The frame may set its own cookies inside itself; we do not read them, and we cannot.
Simply visiting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs — the pages requested, roughly when, and the IP address that asked. That is how any website is served, and we do not do anything further with it.
What this site does not do
There is no analytics, no tracking pixel and no advertising tag anywhere on it. Our own code sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Even the typefaces are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you did.
Keeping it, and getting rid of it
We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to answer you and to look after any stay that follows. Ask us for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it, and we will — whoever you are and wherever you are writing from.
Links to other places
Where we link out — the stables at Irish Hills Equine, for instance — you are on someone else's site under their own terms. We have no part in what they collect.
